Once they used to live with the dragons as servants, scribes and messengers. They are highly intelligent, and rather cheeky.

There comes a time when the geflars who serve the Indigo dragons are blamed by Charm Isparag for starting a dispute with the Vermilion dragons, and he turns on them with wrath and vengeance. If they stay in Fraith they face certain extermination . . .
