Superb Fairy Wren
 
The Superb Fairy Wren is much loved for its bright colours and energetic hopping and twittering. During the breeding season the males sport distinctive bright blue feathers. Females are brown, as are the males during winter. They often occur in family groups, and raise two or three broods of chicks as a family group. Fairy Wrens are symbolic of resilience and new beginnings.
