The Pink Robin is endemic to southern coastal Australia, where it favours the shady fern gullies and temporate rainforests. The female builds a deep cup-shaped nest of moss, bark and lichen. She incubates the eggs while the male brings her food, then they both feed their offspring. The males have a distinctive lilac-pink breast. Robins are symbolic of hope, renewal and joy.
